#UAPBAthletics Mourns Loss of Zoe Robinson

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff athletic department is mourning the loss of student assistant Zoe Robinson. A freshman from San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Friday evening following a traffic accident in Mississippi.

Robinson joined the Golden Lions football program as a film crew assistant in 2022. A graduate from Veteran Memorial High School majoring in biology who had a passion for sports.

"Our hearts are broken," UAPB Director of Athletics Chris Robinson said. "Zoe was a bright, funny and determined young woman. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Robinson family. On behalf of everyone at UAPB Athletics, we offer sincere condolences to Zoe's family and friends."

Counseling will be available at the Student Counseling Assessment and Development (SCAD) Center in Caldwell Hall once classes resume after spring break.

All faculty and staff are encouraged to reach out to the Employee Assistance Program at 800-542-6021.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
