BERKELEY, CA - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's basketball team is set to participate in the 2nd annual Raising The B.A.R. Invitational held at Cal-Berkeley.
Formerly known as the Cal Classic, previous head coach Charmin Smith retitled the name to the Raising The B.A.R. Invitational with the occasion focusing a light on the way that Black women coaches are a profoundly underrepresented bunch among ladies' DI school basketball programs.
UAPB will face Cal on Dec. 3 in the opening day of the event, followed by Gardner-Webb on Dec. 4 to close it out.
The Lady Lions will tip-off against Cal at 1:00 p.m. CT.
