#UAPBSoccer and Alabama A&M Finish In 1-1 Tie

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff trailed Alabama A&M 1-0 at halftime, but fought back to tie the game at 1-1 Friday (Oct. 7) on the road at Bulldog Field.

The draw moved Arkansas-Pine Bluff's record to 8-7-1 overall and 3-1-1 in SWAC action.

How it Happened

Alabama A&M took a 1-0 lead when Jameela Barrett scored in the fifth minute, assisted by K. Barnes-Blackwood.

The Lady Lions responded to make it a 1-1 game on a goal from Denisse Quintanilla -- her seventh goal of the season -- in the 67th minute. Neither team tacked on another goal in the match.
