Freeman Named SWAC Offensive Player of the Week

After putting up a strong performance in the last two non-conference road wins, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff freshman forward Natalie Freeman has been named Southwestern Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

The Bowmanville, Ontario native was a significant contributor for UAPB this past week as she helped lead the Lady Lions to two consecutive road wins. During her last two games, Freeman tallied five goals, 10 shots, and six shots on goal. The Lady Lions claimed a 10-0 win over Central Baptist before subsequently notching a 5-0 over Lyon College.

The Lady Lions will be looking for their third consecutive win as they take on Central Arkansas Friday, September 10, in Conway, AR.
