#UAPBSoftball Falls To Prairie View

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff softball team dropped game one 9-2 in a three-game series against Prairie View A&M Friday evening at the Torii Hunter Softball Complex.
 
The Lady Panthers jumped to a (6-0) lead, before UAPB responded, scoring a run in the bottom of the fifth and sixth inning to cut the deficit to four (6-2).
 
Prairie View was able to add three more runs in the top of the seventh inning to secure game one.
 
Freshman Remington Martinez led UAPB at the plate going 1-for-3 with one RBI, followed by junior Felicia Drake going 1-for-3. 

UAPB will be back in action Saturday in a doubleheader at 12 and 3 p.m. at the Torii Hunter Softball Complex.
