Doc On The Mic-
On Winning The Division: "It was another good win for us, our program, our organization, our University, our community. We beat a very good Prairie View team, a very tough Prairie View team, may I say…Winning is fun. We're excited about it. We're happy about it. Now we're looking forward to playing Texas Southern this week.
On Winning Three Games By A Touchdown Or Less: It shows that we've grown up and we've learned how to win. We're still learning how to win. That's a big thing. Winning is winning, and learning how to win. The things we've put in place to teach winning, but still, you have to go out and do it against another opponent. The thing for us is we've been doing it against other good football teams.
On What It Would Mean To Host SWAC Championship Game: "It's huge, but right now we're looking forward to hosting Texas Southern. That's the biggest thing on our mind. When I head into our team meeting, that's the only thing we're going to talk about. A lot of things are out of our control. We can only control what we can control. Right now, we're going to try to take care of business this week and see what happens from there. You obviously would love to stay and be at home and do it in front of your home fans, and reduce the travel. There's no place like home, but right now, we're looking forward to hosting Texas Southern."
