Montgomery, AL- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff soccer team dropped a road match to Alabama State 5-0, Friday evening at the ASU Soccer Complex.

The Lady Hornets got on the board, scoring four goals in the first half before adding one in the second half to pick up their first conference win of the season.

The Lady Lions had six shots led by freshman Iyanah Hicks with two shots and one shot on goal.
 
 
"As a team, we are putting this loss behind us mentally and learning from our mistakes as we move forward and prepare for Sunday's game," said UAPB head coach Erik Solberg.  
 
The Lady Lions head back on the road to Huntsville to complete their two-game road trip against Alabama A&M at the Bulldog Soccer Complex Sunday at 1 p.m.
