Jackson, MS. — The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaker 1-0 against Jackson St. Friday evening at JSU Tigers Soccer Complex. 

The Lady Lions played a tough defensive match throughout the game as both team went into the half tied at 0-0.

Jackson St. scored late in the second period of the game at the 84 min mark for the game winning goal.

Freshman Iyannah Hicks led the team with two shots and two shots on goal for the Lady Lions.

Junior goalie Kimberly Moss led UAPB on the defensive end with five saves.

UAPB will be back in action to wrap up their road trip Sunday March 28 versus Southern U. in Baton Rouge, LA at 1 p.m.
