#UAPBVolleyball Seeks Rematch Against Prairie View A&M

PRAIRIE VIEW, TX – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's volleyball team prepares to take the court today and get revenge against the Prairie View A&M Panthers today at 5 p.m. in the Williams J. Nicks Building.

The matchup will be streamed live free of charge at uapblionsroar.com/live on the free UAPB Athletics App.

In the previous matchup against Prairie View A&M earlier this season, the Lady Panthers defeated UAPB at home. A day before their matchup with Prairie View A&M, UAPB had just pulled off a 3-1 victory over Texas Southern.

The Lady Lions (6-3, 5-3 SWAC) are looking to extend to a four-game winning streak today over the Lady Panthers (9-2, 8-1 SWAC) after coming off a huge victory over Southern University with impressive performances from sophomores Reagin Williams and Zyonn Smith who both finished the game dominating in kills with Williams having 15 kills and Smith with 19 kills. Sophomore Nikole Akamine will continue to lead her team in assists, totaling 170 assists in the season, and is entering today's game with the same dominant mindset.

The Lady Panthers is coming off a win over Southern University led by Victoria Pearson, who leads the team in kills with 80.
