#UAPBBaseball Hits Road for Midweek Games Against Tarleton St.

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff baseball continued their five-game road stretch with a midweek matchup at Tarleton St. starting on Tuesday. The first pitch for game one at Cecil Ballow Complex is set for 2 p.m.

This two-game midweek series will be the first meeting between Tarleton St. and UAPB.

Despite starting the season with limited practices due to inclement weather that hit Arkansas two weeks ago, UAPB (0-5) comes off a three-game series loss to Jackson St. over the weekend and loses to #16 Tennessee in their season opener.

With five games under their belt, UAPB sophomore infielder Braelin Hence is off to a hot start this season, batting .462 with two RBI's, which ranks in the top five in the SWAC conference. Senior Preseason All-SWAC first-team Nick Kreutzer, batting .286 with one home run and three RBI's, followed by DeClaudio Irvin, batting .286 with three RBI's.

Tarleton St. is coming off a three-game series against Northwestern St., dropping the last two games 2-1 in game one and 5-3 in game two.

The Texan Riders are led by Wade Raburn, batting .500 with six RBI's and Bryce Hackett, who leads the team on the mound with 10 strikeouts over 10.1 innings.
