The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff grabbed their third straight win against Grambling State after sweeping them on Thursday 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-17).
Jayden James led the UAPB with a game-high 14 kills. Destiny Thomas and Kaila Robinson added to the kill total with nine and eight kills, respectively.
Defensively, Haley Gomez and Kori Diego both had game-highs of three blocks apiece to pace UAPB.
Nikole Akamine led the Lady Lions with a game-high 22 assists in the match, and Keaundra Sykes added 16 assists to the total.
Nyah Ellis led the team in digs with 19.
The Lady Lions take a few days off to regroup before traveling to Southern on Nov. 7th to continue conference play.
The match will begin at 1 p.m.
