What has been a historic season up to this point, has now become "unfinished business" for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff volleyball team.
In the spring season, the Lady Lions upset No. 2 seed Prairie View 3-2 to punch their ticket to the title game in the SWAC Tournament. Unfortunately, UAPB was forced to forfeit due to COVID-19 related issues, ending their season without a chance to play for a championship.
Fast forward months later, the Lady Lions are back to battle for what could've been in the spring, a SWAC Championship.
The SWAC Tournament will be held Nov. 19-21 on the campus of Alabama A&M in Huntsville, AL. The Lady Lions enter the tournament as the No. 3 seed with a 13-3 conference record.
UAPB gained some momentum over the past few weeks, winning the last five games and going undefeated at home for the first time in school history.
The Lady Lions are set to face Southern in the first round of the SWAC Tournament on Friday, Nov. 19 at 4 p.m.
