Former University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff football standouts Jamie Gillan and Terron Armstead and their respective teams saw their seasons end Sunday in the NFL Divisional playoffs.
 
Gillan and the Cleveland Browns lost at Kansas City, 22-17. Armstead and the Saints lost at home to Tampa Bay, 30-20.
 
Gillan punted twice in the game, averaging 47.5 in the game. Gillan had 47-yard punt in the second quarter, and a 48-yard punt in the fourth quarter. Gillan also held on all three Browns' scoring kicks.
 
In New Orleans, Armstead and the Saints led 6-0 after one quarter in a contest that was tied 13-all at halftime and 20-20 after three periods. Tampa Bay scored the games' final 10 points to take the road win.
 
The Saints gained 294 yards in the game, but four turnovers hurt New Orleans' chances.
