JACKSON, Miss. --The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's basketball team lost at Jackson St. 76-56 Monday night.
Marquell Carter led the Golden Lions with 18 points and had five rebounds and was the only UAPB player in double-figures.
The game was tight in the early minutes before Jackson State pulled away to take a 39-20 halftime lead.
UAPB, which did not lead in the contest, got 28 points off the bench led by
Jamil Wilson's eight points.
The Golden Lions will conclude the regular season Saturday at home vs. Miss. Valley State at 7:30 p.m. on Senior Night.
