JACKSON, Miss. – The University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff women's and men's basketball teams will play the final road games of the regular season in a Monday night doubleheader at Jackson St.

Women's basketball took another step toward a Cricket Wireless SWAC Basketball Tournament berth with an 82-64 win at Grambling Saturday.
Trasity Totten's second career double-double (11 points, career-high 15 rebounds) was among the highlights in which five players scored in double figures.
Noe'll Taylor and
Aiya El Hassan each scored 17 points,
Kyeonia Harris scored 15 points and had a career-high six steals, and
Jayla Atmore scored 12 points and added seven rebounds.
The UAPB women (6-20, 5-11) are now two games ahead of Grambling in the loss column in the 8
th spot, with the Lady Lions having remaining games at Jackson State and home against Miss. Valley St. this Saturday.
Jackson St. (16-9, 14-1) has been the most consistent team in the SWAC this season, opening league play with 12 straight wins. Dayzsha Rogan and Marneisha Hamer (each t-5
th in scoring at 13.4 ppg), along with Ameshya Williams (9
th at 11.4 ppg) rank in the Top 10 in the conference in scoring, with Williams also second in the SWAC in rebounds (9.5 rpg).
In the first meeting of the season, UAPB lost to Jackson State 56-44 in Pine Bluff on Feb. 3.
On the men's side, the Lions' 60-44 loss at Grambling St. Saturday night hurt their chances for a tournament berth and face a must-win on Monday night at Jackson St.
UAPB is two games behind Alabama A&M in the loss column and the Golden Lions must win their final two games combined with AAMU losing its last three games to get in the tournament.
Markedric Bell posted his second career double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds against Grambling.
Jackson State (8-7 in SWAC) is still in the hunt for a top-four seed in the tournament and is one game behind the GSU men for fourth place and tied with Alcorn St. in the loss column for fifth place in the standings. Jackson State's Tristan Jarrett (17.5 ppg) and Roland Griffin (15.7 ppg) ranks 1
st and 3
rd, respectively, in the SWAC in scoring. Jayveous Williams (9.4 rpg) Griffin (6.6 rpg) are 1
st and 3
rd respectively, in the league in rebounding.
UAPB lost in a close matchup at home to the Tigers 49-45 on Feb. 3.
