MURFREESBORO, TN. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's and women's tennis team fell to #31 Middle Tennessee 7-0 in the women's matchup and 6-0 in the men's matchup in their season opener Friday at the Adams Tennis Complex.
The Blue Raiders come into the match both rank 31st in the country, went on to win the singles competition, and the doubles match.
In the women's singles competition, Kelsea Baksh won a set in her match against Zani Barnard.
In the doubles match, Malaika Stokes and Barnard won a set in the first match.
On the men's side, Darrien Ledbetter won a set in his match against Max Rauch. Thomas Harris won a set in his match against Patrick Kristensen.
In the doubles match, Isiah Jordan and Ledbetter won a set in the second match of the doubles competition.
