Baseball Welcomes Lane College This Weekend

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff baseball teams will host Lane College in their home opener for a three-game series this weekend at the Torii Hunter Complex.

The Golden Lions and the Dragons are set for a 2 p.m. start in Friday's series opener, while the first pitch for Saturday's doubleheader is set for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Golden Lions are coming off a midweek non-conference loss to Baylor Tuesday night in Waco, TX.

Junior Humberto Maldonado leads the Golden Lions at the plate batting .353, followed by redshirt sophomore Braelin Hence batting .286.

Lane College is coming off 10-6 win over Stillman College in 12 innings. The Dragons are led by Keishaun Clark, who went 4-for-6 at the plate with two RBIs in the matchup against Stillman College.
