BATON ROUGE, La. -- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's basketball team lost at Southern 73-49 Saturday night.
Zavian Jackson came off the bench to lead the Golden Lions with 14 points as the lone player in double figures. UAPB's defense held Southern to only 23.8% shooting from beyond the arc.
The teams traded the lead three times in the first half before Southern pulled away to lead 37-15 at halftime, and then pulled away in the second half.
