UAPB Baseball Drops Season Opener At Andre Dawson Classic

New Orleans, La.- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff baseball team lost to Grambling St. 10-0 in the night cap of the Andre Dawson Classic at Wesley Barrow Stadium on Friday.

Junior Darrian Aldridge led UAPB at the plate going 1-for-2.  Junior Humberto Maldonado and sophomore Brandon Simon each had a hit for the Golden Lions.

The Golden Lions will be back in action tomorrow for a doubleheader, starting at noon against Prairie View A&M and game two against Alabama St. at 4 p.m. at Maestri Field.
