The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's basketball team lost at Marquette 99-57 in the season-opener for both teams Wednesday night in Milwaukee.
 
Cold shooting hurt the Golden Lions, as they made just seven of 37 shots in the first half in trailing 50-18 at halftime.
 
Shaun Doss Jr. was the only UAPB player in double-figures with a career-high 27 points, along with five rebounds.
 
UAPB returns to action Friday at #7Wisconsin at 8 p.m., with the game being televised on Big Ten Network.
