Former University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff football standouts Jamie Gillan and Terron Armstead and their respective teams continued their winning ways during NFL Week 11 action.
 
Gillan and the Cleveland Browns improved to 7-3 with a 22-17 home win over Philadelphia. Armstead and the New Orleans Saints won their seventh straight game and improved to 8-2 with a 24-9 home win over Atlanta.
 
Gillan averaged 45.0 yards on five punts with a long of 50 with one downed inside the 20-yard line in the win. Gillan drilled a 50-yard punt in the first quarter, and had punts of 37 and 49 yards in the second quarter. Gillan hit a 46-yard punt in the third quarter, and a 43-yard punt in the fourth quarter, as well as serving as the holder on all Browns' scoring kicks.
 
Led by Armstead and the offensive line, New Orleans rushed for 168 yards and averaged nearly five yards per carry as the Saints won the first career start of quarterback Taysom Hill in place of the injured Drew Brees. Hill passed for 233 yards and rushed for another 51 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
 
Next Sunday, Cleveland plays at Jacksonville at noon on CBS, while New Orleans plays at Denver at 3:05 p.m. on FOX.
