"We would like to give a lot credit to Prairie View," said first-year UAPB head coach Dawn Brown. "They did a good job of playing good defense tonight. We couldn't get in sync on offense like we wanted to, but I told our girls to come out and play hard in the second half. When you're building a young team, it's tough to play from behind, but we got to find a way and we will."
The Lady Lions will be back in action Monday at Texas Southern at 5:30 p.m. The UAPB Sports Network will have a live radio broadccast starting at 5:15 p.m. on 99.3 FM The Beat, online at uapblionsroar.com, and on the free UAPB Athletics App.
