The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's volleyball team took on Henderson St. in an exhibition match Sunday evening at the H.O. Clemmons Arena.  The Lady Lions fell 22-25, 14-25, 19-25, and 25-14 in the preseason match against the Lady Reddies. 

"We really started to find our groove late in the match," said first-year head coach Chelsey Lucas.  "We have a very young team, but this match will help us correct some mistakes heading into this weekend's tournament."

The Lady Lions officially begin their season when the team heads to University of New Orleans Invitational from Aug. 30-31.  UAPB will take on Louisiana at Monroe, North Dakota and host New Orleans during the two-day tournament.
