The University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff Sports Network has expanded to Arkansas' Capital City in a new partnership announced today with Cumulus Radio.

This season, UAPB Football games will be heard in Little Rock on KARN 920 AM The Sports Animal.

"The Little Rock community has always been a great friend and supporter of the University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff," said UAPB Athletic Director Melvin Hines. "We are thrilled to bring Golden Lion football into the heart of Central Arkansas. We are appreciative of Cumulus Radio in partnering with us to further expand the reach and strengthen the brand of UAPB Athletics in the promotion of our student-athletes in our home state."

The partnership with Cumulus Radio includes year-round promotion of UAPB Athletics, including promotional giveaways and interviews with coaches and administrators throughout the 2019-20 athletics year.

"KARN AM 920 The Sports Animal, is excited to be the broadcast home in Little Rock of the UAPB Golden Lions Football team in 2019," said Keith Liesmann, Vice President and General Manager of Cumulus Media Group. "We look forward to our partnership with the University to help expand the footprint of their growing football program, and we know our listeners are going to love being able to hear the games in Central Arkansas." 

UAPB Football opens the season next Saturday, Aug. 31 at TCU. The Lions Roar Pregame Show begins at 6:30 p.m., with kickoff shortly after 7 p.m.
