2019 Women’s Tennis Season Recap

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's tennis team had a challenging year but remains determine and focus for the 2020 season with a lot of promising potentials to be excited about.

The Lady Lions will lose four student-athletes due to graduation but has two talented returners coming back, freshman Manoja Reddy and junior Ariel Zena Graves and some key new pieces that will put together a strong nucleus for UAPB.

The Lady Lions also excelled in the classroom, finishing the season with an overall 3.251 team GPA. Also, the Lady-Lions had three-student athletes (Cierra Fenwick, Karissa Fenwick, and Malaik Muhammad) to graduate from UAPB nursing program and passed the Arkansas State Nursing Exam.

According to the school of nursing, the student-athletes were the first to come through the program since the revamping of the school of nursing program six years ago.
