UAPB Women's Tennis Drops Doubleheader To Ole Miss

Pine Bluff, Ark.- The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's tennis team dropped a midweek doubleheader match to Ole Miss Lady Rebels, 6-1 and 4-1 at the Bloom Tennis Center.

In game one in the double competition, UAPB was defeated 6-0 in match one and two by Ole Miss but won match three by default.

In the singles competition the Ariel Zena Graves put up a valiant effort but was defeated by Tea Jandric 6-0 and 6-1. The Lady Rebels went on to win the next four sets before the Lady Lions claimed match six by default.

Also in game two Lady Lions suffered a 4-1 decision to Lady Rebels.

UAPB will be back in action on Friday, April 5th with a conference match against Alcorn St. The serve time is set for 2:00 PM.
