ARLINGTON, Texas – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff baseball team lost at Texas-Arlington 10-2 Tuesday night.

The Golden Lions managed just three hits in the game. Jarficur Parker, Ryan Mallison, and Nick Kreutzer had hits for UAPB (1-3).

Trailing 3-0 after three innings, Arkansas Pine Bluff scored both runs in the third. Parker led off with a single to left field. Mallison then doubled to right center, advancing Parker to third. Parker later scored on wild pitch as Mallison advanced to third. Ricardo Sanchez' RBI groundout scored Mallison to cut the deficit to 3-2.

UTA (3-2) broke the game open with runs in the fifth, sixth and eighth innings for the final margin.

UAPB will return to action in a three-game series at Abilene Christian Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m.
