The Lady Lions coming off a 5-20 season overall, returns six student-athletes from last year squad and added a talent group of newcomers to add on. Coastal Carolina coming off a 17-15 overall. The Lady Chanticleers have 10 returning players off the 2018-19 team.
"Coastal Carolina is a very dynamic team," Brown said. "They are led by DJ Williams, who can do it all. They have depth at the post position. They really dominate the boards offensively, and they have student-athletes who can play at all levels. We have to rely on our upperclassmen to raise the bar for our newcomers, which will give us a chance."
