Former University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff football player Terron Armstead and the New Orleans Saints got back to their winning ways in National Football League action Sunday.

The Saints won at Tampa Bay 34-17 to improve to 8-2 on the season.

Armstead anchored the offensive line that provided protection for QB Drew Brees to complete 80 percent of his passes (28-of-35) for 228 yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions while dominating time of possession 37:00 – 23:00.

Armstead, in his seventh NFL season, was a third-round pick out of UAPB in the 2013 NFL Draft. Last season with New Orleans, he was selected as a Pro Bowl starter and was named second-team All-Pro.
 
Armstead and the Saints return to action next Sunday hosting Carolina at Noon on CBS. Another UAPB football standout, P Jamie Gillan and the Cleveland Browns will host the Miami Dolphins next Sunday at Noon on FOX.
