Game 2: UAPB 3 Fisk 0
In game two the Lady Lions picked up where they left off from game one, defeating the Lady Bulldogs 25-17, 25-22, 25-18.
"To do it in three in both games, we feel really good," said Lucas. "We started with momentum but lost a little focus as the game went on. We've got to come out strong and keep that same energy throughout the game. Overall, I'm happy for the ladies and how we played against a team that refuses to give up."
Gomez had a team-high 12 kills two digs and two blocks for the Lady Lions. Pope and freshman Elyssa Kennedy had double digits in assists with 13 and 12, respectively.
