PINE BLUFF, Ark. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Athletics Department announced that its Golden Lions football team will travel to Fort Worth, Texas to take on Texas Christian University in 2019 and then head to Oxford, Ohio to face Miami University in 2020. This is the first time that the Golden Lions will face a team from the Big 12 Conference in football.

This isn't the first time that the Golden Lions football team will face a team from the Mid-American Conference (MAC); last year UAPB traveled to Akron, Ohio to face the University of Akron in non-conference action. Miami (Ohio) and UAPB will battle at Yager Stadium in Oxford on Sept. 5, 2020. The contest will be the first-ever meeting between the two universities in football.
