MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Lady Lions fell three sets to zero (25-12, 25-19, 25-14) against Arkansas State University in the season opener in the Memphis Invitational.
Junior outside hitter
Kendalle Howard led UAPBÂ with five kills while freshman teammates
Haley Gomez and
Charm Henderson both finished with three kills apiece. Junior setter
Britney Sahlmann finished with a team-high 11 assists.
Arkansas State's Carlisa May and Timber Terrell both finished with 10 kills apiece.
