INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff had three of its sports programs selected as recipients of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Public Recognition Award. The Lady Lions soccer, tennis and cross country teams all earned this prestigious NCAA award.

This honor is bestowed on teams with an NCAA Division 1 Academic Progress Rate in the top 10 percent of all squads in their respective sports in the 2016-17 academic year.
