NORMAN, Okla. - Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lady Lions track and field team participated in the John Jacobs Invitational in Oklahoma.
Camiya Knight took third place in the 400-meter dash (57.53). Ar-jai Johnson earned fifth place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:13.01. The Lady Lions' 4x400m hurdles clocked in a 4:05.32 during competition, taking fourth.
In field events,
Summer Gilliam earned second place in the long jump (5.69m), and teammate
Briana Burke was fourth (5.47m).
In the women's javelin, it was freshman
Cedreahna Kennedy who finished sixth with a throw of 32.76 meters while teammate Je-Risa James picked up a sixth place finish in the women's 800 meter run, posting a time of 2:21.97.
