Box Score ATLANTA, Ga. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions battled against The Georgia Institute of Technology to an 8-0 loss in non-conference competition at Russ Chandler Stadium. Georgia Tech got off to a quick start with two runs in the opening inning, added another three in the seventh and only allowed a total of three hits to the Golden Lions. Nick Kreutzer, Jacob Columbo and Ryan Mallison each piched up a hit for UAPB.

Pitcher Peyton Burks was credited with the loss as he falls to 0-1 on the seaosn.

UAPB returns to action on Friday, March 2 as it hosts Southern University in a 3-game series in Southwestern Athletic Conference play. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. at the Torii Hunter Baseball Complex.
