TULSA, Okla. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Lady Lions traveled to Oklahoma for a total of four matches at the Case Tennis Center; two against the University of Tulsa and two against Oral Roberts University.

In singles competition, Ana Padilla played in the top slot and battled Ksenia Laskutova to a a loss in straight sets while Amira Ali, Taylor Shaw, Amira Taylor and Jana Lewis also fought hard before each falling in straight sets.

In doubles, Padilla and Shaw attempted to pick up their first doubles victory of the year but fell short with a loss while Taylor and Lewis suffered similar defeat against Tulsa's second doubles team.

In singles play against Oral Roberts, Padilla and Taylor both got on the board but both fell 6-1 while Shaw showed signs of life in her match before she eventually fell 6-2.

The Lady Lions tennis teams returns to action on Thursday, February 1 as it hosts Oral Roberts University for its first home match of the season in Pine Bluff. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Pine Bluff Country Club.
