Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. (April 23) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Baseball team dropped a 7-2 decision to Texas Southern, here Sunday afternoon at the Torii Hunter Baseball, Softball and Little League Complex.
 
UAPB finished the contest with seven, while TSU recorded 11.
 
Both Aderly Perez and Jordan Knox finished with two hits apiece to lead the Golden Lions form the plate, while both Kamren Dukes and Blake Hicks finished with three hits each to lead the Tigers.
 
Anthony Martinez (2-2) received the win for the Tigers.  He gave up seven hits and struck out six in seven inning of work.
 
Jake Waters (2-3) took the loss for the Golden Lions.  In his outing on the hill, he gave up five hits, two earned runs and struck out four in three and two-third innings of work.
 
UAPB jumped out to a 2-0 lead with Julian Jones scored on a Dontrell Brown single in the bottom of the second inning.  Then Perez would then score on a Knox single up the middle in the bottom of the third inning.
 
TSU plated five runs in their half of the fourth inning to take a 5-2 lead over UAPB.
 
The Tigers then plated two runs in the contest for the 7-2 final with TSU pushing across a run in the top of the seventh inning and another in the top of the eighth inning.
