Box Score UNION CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 25) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Baseball team dropped a 7-1 contest to the University of Tennessee Martin, here Saturday afternoon at Elam Stadium.
 
UTM finished the contest with nine hits, whereas UAPB tallied two.
 
Both Jason Ibrahim and Sergio Esparza recorded a hit each for UAPB.
 
UTM was led by Tyler Albright with three hits and three RBIs.
 
Dalton Westfall (2-0) received the win for the Skyhawks.  In his outing on the mound, Westfall pitched eight and one-third innings, allowing two hits and striking out 12 in the 31 batters he faced.  Cain Peyton pitched two-third inning in relief, striking one batter in the two batters he faced.
 
C.J. Lewington (0-1) the UAPB starter received the loss for the Golden Lions.  He pitched three innings, allowing six hits, five earned runs and striking out two in the 21 batters he faced.  Antonie Luster pitched four innings in relief, allowing two hits, two earned runs and striking out one in the 18 batters he faced. Nicholas toed the rubber for one inning, allowing one hit and striking one in the four batters he faced.
 
UTM took a 5-0 lead into the fifth inning with the Skyhawks plating two runs in their half of the first and second inning and one run in the third.
 
Julian Jones scored the Golden Lions only run of the contest on a wild pitch in the top of the fifth inning.
 
UTM plated two more runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for the 7-1 final.
