Box Score CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - The Lady Lions outscored the Lady Govs 19-17 in the final quarter while Faith Ohanta continued her marvelous season for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with another huge output, scoring 25 points on 9-of-12 free throws and grabbing 15 boards (10 offensive), but it wasn't enough to keep a gritty Austin Peay squad from producing five scorers in double-figures en route to a 97-61 victory at the Dunn Center. Freshman Trasity Totten helped the cause with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field, but no other Lady Lion scored in double figures.
The Lady Govs jumped out to a 27-12 lead in the opening quarter and continued its dominance in the second and third quarters. Brianah Ferby finished with a team-high 17 points for the Lady Govs, who improved to 5-1 on the season. The Lady Lions (2-3) were able to outscore Austin Peay in the final quarter, but by that time the lead was insurmountable.
The major difference in the game was three-point shooting; UAPB shot just 1-for-9 from downtown while Austin Peay nailed 12-of-22 three-pointers, outscoring its opponent 36-3 from behind the arc.
