PINE BLUFF, Ark. (Feb. 20) - North Dakota State completed their sweep of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Baseball team with a 7-4 win over the Golden Lions, here Saturday afternoon at the Torii Hunter Baseball, Softball and Little League Complex.

UAPB finished the contest with six hits, while NDSU recorded eight.

The Golden Lions were led by Jaqueese More from the plate with three hits.

Both Drew Fearing and Juan Gamez finished with two hits apiece to lead the Bison.

Dalton England (1-0)receive the win for the Bison as he pitched three innings, allowing two hits, and one earned run. Blake Stockert picked up his first save of the season with him pitching one scoreless inning in relief and striking out one.
Reed Pfannestein the Bison starter pitched three innings, allowing three hits, three earned runs and striking out four in the 16 batters he faced.

C.J. Lewington (0-1) receive the loss for the for Golden Lions as he pitched one and one-third inning, allowing two hits, one earned runs and striking out two in the 10 batter he faced.Â
Ashton Holdridge, the UAPB starter pitched four innings, allowing two hits, three earned runs and striking out two.

NDSU jumped out to a 3-0 lead in their half of the second inning on a Brayden Resch base clearing triple scoring Fearing, Gamez and Jayse McLean.

UAPB tied the contest with a three-run fourth inning.Â
Jordan Knox scored the first run of the innings on a bases loaded walk, followed by Jackson double to center field scoring both
Jacob Columbo and
Joshua Williams, knotting the score at 3-3.

NDSU took a 4-3 lead in the top of the fifth inning with Resch scoring on Taylor Sanders single.

UAPB tied the contest at 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning on a Knox sacrifice fly to right field scoring Moore.

NDSU scored two runs in their half of the sixth and one run in their half of the seventh for the 7-4 win.
