Box Score PINE BLUFF, Ark. (Nov. 5) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff pick up their sixth win of the season with the Lady Lions defeating Grambling State, 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-23) here Saturday afternoon at H.O. Clemmons Arena.

Taylor Burrall with eight kills, followed by both
Lauren Corby with six kills each and
Natalie Gibbs with five.Â
Britney Sahlmann led the team in assists with 27 and
Courtney Brand led the team in digs with 15.

GSU (6-10, 4-10 SWAC) was led by both Kevreion Ward and Maya Lucas with Ward finishing with a team high seven kills and Lucas with six. Diemend Richardson led the team in assists with 11 and Hensley led the team in digs with digs.

GSU jumped out to a 5-2 lead in the first set on a kill by Lucas.Â

UAPB tied the contest at 10-10 on an 8-5 run, capped off by a GSU attack error.

The Lady Lions then went on a 7-2 run to take a 17-13 lead, capped off by a GSU attack error. UAPB went on to win the set 25-18 to take a 1-0 lead in the match.

The Lady Tigers used 8-4 run to take 10-8 lead on an UAPB service error.

GSU then extended their lead to 15-12 as the Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Lions 5-4.Â

The Lady Lions took advantage of two kills by Burrall and Corby and two attack errors to win the second set 25-23, to take a 2-0 lead in the match.
