Box Score CINCINNATI, Ohio (Nov. 29) - The University of Cincinnati handed the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Women's Basketball Team, a 72-42 loss here Tuesday night at the Fifth Third Arena.
 
UAPB (0-5) was led by Niya Head with 16 points and seven rebounds, followed by Malaik Muhammad with eight and Destiny Brewton with six.  Brewton led the team in assists with a team high four.
 
UC (5-1) was led by Ana Owens with 14 points and Sam Rodgers with 11.  Chelsea Warren led the Bearcats on the boards with six and both Shanice Johnson and Rodgers dished out a three assists apiece for UC.
 
UAPB trailed UC, 42-11 at the break with the Lady Lions finish shooting the first half 20.0 percent (5-of-25), while the Bearcats shot 34.3 percent (11-of-32).
 
In the second half, the Lady Lions shot 44.4 percent (12-of-27) with UAPB scoring 31 second half points, while the Bearcats shot 45.4 percent (10-of-22) with UC scoring 40 second half points.
 
UAPB finished the contest shooting 32.7 percent (17-of-52), while UC shot 38.9 percent (21-of-54).
 
The Lady Lions will return to action Saturday, December 3 against South Dakota State in Brookings, S.D. in a 1:30 p.m. start.
