Box Score PRAIRIE VIEW A&M (Nov. 15)The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Volleyball team picked up their fourth straight win with the Lady Lions defeating Prairie View A&M, 3-2 (25-20, 23-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-13) in five sets, here Monday night at the William J. Nicks Building.
 
UAPB (9-15, 9-8 SWAC) had pair of Lady Lions to finish in double-digit kills in Kendalle Howard with 11 and Taylor Burrall with 10.  Britney Sahlmann led the Lady Lions in assists, while Courtney Brand led the team in digs with 15.
 
PVAMU (9-18, 8-9 SWAC) was led by both Calli Jorden Hensch and Taylor Goudeau with Hensch finishing with a match high 20 kills and Goudeau with 16.  Mykaeli Franklin led the team in assists with 27 and Christen Augustine led the in digs with 21.
 
UAPB in the first set led by as many as five points with the Lady Lions taking a 18-13 lead on a Lady Panther attack error. 
 
PVAMU cut UAPB's lead to 23-20 on a Kira Kirkham service ace. 
 
UAPB won the set as they scored the final two points on a Lady Panther ball handling error and Sahlmann service ace, for the 25-23 win giving the Lady Lions a 1-0 lead in the match.
 
PVAMU won the second set 25-23 to tie the match at 1-1.
 
UAPB went up 2-1 over PVAMU with the Lady Lions winning the second set 25-19. 
 
The Lady Panthers tied the match at 2-2 as they won the fourth set 25-23.
 
In the fifth and deciding set, UAPB jumped out to a 5-2 lead capped off by a Lady Panther attack error. 
 
The Lady Panthers used a 5-2 run to take a 7-5 lead on an UAPB attack error.
 
A Lauren Corby kill tied the set at 9-9.
 
PVAMU then took a 13-11 lead with a 4-2 run on a Martinez service ace.
 
UAPB closed out the set with a 4-0 run to win the final set 15-13 for 3-2 win.
