TULSA, Okla. (Jan. 16)  - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Women's Tennis Team opened their season in  a doubleheader against Oral Roberts and a single match against the University of Tulsa with the Lady Lions dropping two matches to Oral Roberts and one to Tulsa.
 
ORU blanked UAPB in the doubleheader with Golden Eagles winning both matches, 5-0.   Lauren Corby scored the Lady Lions only points in the doubleheader as she fell to Nika Munoz, 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 4 singles competition.
