Box Score CONWAY, Ark. (April 7) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Baseball won their fourth straight with a 14-9 win over the University of Central Arkansas, here Tuesday afternoon at the Bear Stadium.
UAPB punched out 16 hits in the contest with both
Gabe Munoz and Chris Burns finishing with three hits apiece to lead the Golden Lions.
UCA recorded seven hits in the contest with Joey Pinney finishing with two hits to lead the Bears.
UAPB sent four Golden Lions to the hill with Humberto Medina (1-2) picking up the win, allowing one hit, two earned runs and striking three in one and one-third innings of work.
Jerimiah Figueroa made the start for UAPB, allowing four hits, and striking out three in two and third inning of work.
Harry Estep and
Blake Estep both made appearances on the mound for UAPB.

Blake Estep pitched one and one-third innings in relief, striking out one in the five batters he faced.
UCA used four pitchers in the contest with Bo Stitch (4-3) receiving the loss for the Bears, allowing six hits, four earned runs and striking gout one in two-thirds of an inning of work. Ty Tice made the start for the UCA, allowing five hits, three earned runs and striking out one in two and two-third innings of work. Andrew Kemmerer pitched one inning in relief, allowing three hits, four earned runs and striking out two. Chris Durham closed out the game for the Bears, allowing two hits and striking out three in four and two-third innings of work.
UAPB took 6-0 lead into the bottom of third inning.
UCA tied the contest at 6-6 in the bottom of the third inning as the plated three runs in the inning.
The Golden Lions regained the lead with a six-run fourth to take a 12-6 lead.
UCA cut into UAPB's lead as the scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, making the score 12-8 in favor of the Golden Lions.
UAPB plated two more runs in the top of the fifth inning, while UCA scored one more run in the bottom of the eighth inning for the 14-9 finale.
