Box Score HOUSTON (Feb. 28) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Baseball team scored 12 runs on 15 hits in route to a 12-4 win over Texas Southern, here Saturday afternoon at MacGregor Park.
 
  TSU finished the contest with 10 hits.
 
Both teams combined for four errors with UAPB committing one and TSU three.
 
Chris Burns led the Golden Lions from the play with three hits in six at-bats scoring one runs and driving in five, while both Robert Garza and Zach Howell finished with three hits each for the Tigers.
 
Blake Estep (1-2) picked up the win for UAPB, allowing four hits, two earned runs and striking out six in five and two-third innings of work.    Ciji Ramos also pitched one inning of relief, allowing two hits, and two earned runs and striking out.  Both Kevin Walsh and Jerimiah Figueroa pitched scoreless inning for the Golden Lion while on the hill.
 
Ryan Rios received the loss for TSU as he pitched three and two-third innings, allowing seven hits, five earned runs and striking out one.  Larry Romero saw two and one-third innings of work, allowing three hits, one earned runs and striking out one.  Also making an appearance on the mound for TSU as he pitched three innings, allowing five hits, three earned runs and striking out three.
 
UAPB led the entire contest as they scored one run in the first, second and third inning and three runs in their half of the fourth, sixth and ninth inning. 
 
TSU pushed across one run in their half of the second and sixth inning.  Then plated two runs in their half of the seventh inning.
