JACKSON, Miss. (Feb. 27)  - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Women's Tennis Team dropped a 6-1 decision to Alabama State, here Friday afternoon at JSU Tennis Courts. 
 
In No. 1 singles play Elizabeth Perez picked up the win as she defeated Arantxia Wijinhaarde 6-2 in the first set and 6-3 in the second set.
 
Monica Arcos fell to Marine Cartier in the No. 2 singles play with Cartier winning the first set 6-1 and 6-0 sin the second set.
 
In double competition, the team of Perez and Arcos defeated Wijihaarde and Cartier, 6-2 in No. 1 doubles play.
