Lubbock, Texas. - University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff fell to Texas Tech 84-40 Sunday afternoon in the United Supermarkets Arena.

Destiny Brewton led UAPB in scoring with 11 points and five rebounds.  Ajia Richardson also contributed eight points, while Diamond Richardson grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

Texas Tech finished with four players in double figure points as Brielle Blaire led the team in scoring with 19 points, followed by Ivonne Cooktaylor and Dayo Olabode with 12 apiece and Japreece Dean with 10.

For the game, UAPB shot 30 percent from the field compared the Lady Red Raiders 46 percent.

The Lady Lions will be back in action after the Christmas break against Toledo Lady Rockets Dec. 29 at 7 p.m.
