Box Score MONTICELLO, Ark. (Sept. 30) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Volleyball team dropped a 3-1 (15-25, 25-19, 15-25, 18-25) decision to Arkansas at Monticello, here Tuesday afternoon at Steelman Field House.
 
UAPB (3-13) was led by Ashlie Jones with 13 kills, followed by a Whitney Harris with nine. Jordan Foyer led the team in assists and digs with 33 assists and 19 digs.  Also finishing in double-digit digs for the Lady Lions was Jade Sanlin and Cortney Brands as they both finished with 11 digs apiece.
 
AUM (6-6) was led by paced by Kedra Johnson and Tasha Evans with Johnson finishing with 12 kills and Evans with 11.  Beckham led the Boll Weevils in assists with 28, while Jessica Cuba led the team in digs with 16.

The Lady Lions dropped the first set 25-15 as AUM took a 1-0 lead in the match.

UAPB jumped out to a 16-11 lead in the second set on a Boll Weevils attack error. The Lady Lions extended their lead to 22-16 on a AUM attack error as the Lady Lions went on to win the set 25-19 to tie the match at 1-1.

The Lady Lions dropped the third set 25-15 and the fourth set 25-18 as AUM won the match 3-1.

UAPB will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 4 as they will host Texas Southern at H.O. Clemmons Arena in a 2 p.m. start.
