MONTGOMERY, Ala. (March 28)  - The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff Women's Tennis Team picked up their sixth win of the season  as the Lady Lions defeated Alabama A&M, 4-0 here Friday afternoon at the UAPB Tennis Courts.
 
In singles action, UAPB won three of the singles matches with Monica Arcos defeating Khyana Price in straight set, 6-0, 6-0 in No. three singles action.  In addition, the Lady Lions won No. 5 singles and No.  6 singles matches.
 
UAPB swept the doubles point as the team of Elizabeth Perez-Rodriguez and  Arcos defeated Jessica Taylor and Orianna Rodriguez in No. 1 doubles, 8-0.  In No. 2 doubles, the team of Maria Cabane and Fabiola Cardoso-Delgado defeated Price and Kassa Kennemore, 3-2.
 
With the win, the Lady Lions improve to 6-10 and 2-6 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play, whereas Alabama A&M falls to 1-6 and 0-1 in conference play.
